When I first acquired ‘It Must Be Magic‘ from Curriculum & Culture, Victoria and I had a long talk about the program and what we were going to do with them. She was keeping level 3, so it was only right for me to rename levels 1 and 2. I wanted to do a complete overhaul, but it wasn’t something I had time for in the moment. So I updated what I had time for (styling and layout) and it has since remained unchanged.
Well, that’s changing. I’m excited to say, Bewitching Words is finally getting its overhaul! Completing the New Writer’s Guide series is my current priority, but every time I have a few extra seconds (haha, “extra”), I am able to edit just a little bit more. Ideally, I’d love to be done with volume 1 some time in the spring, but please don’t hold me to that. I CAN say, however, with some pretty solid certainty, that it will be available for the ’26-’27 school year!
How about a sneak peek?
When complete, expect more spelling lists, more words, more rules, and MORE MAGIC as volumes 1 and 2 are rolled into one, complete volume. As it’s currently being rolled around in my head, the series is working out to be 3, year-long, progressive volumes, which will build on each other.
